Founded on the premise of offering the classics done well with exciting and unexpected options, owner and ice cream maker, Bob Wright, encourages his customers to sample his unique pairings. Treats uses local, organic and seasonal ingredients when possible, and also offer gluten free cones.
Among customer favorites are the Pear Ginger sorbet, Chai Coconut (vegan) ice cream and River Hill Red sorbet; a combination of sweet red peppers and strawberries from nearby River Hill Farm and Chaffin Family Orchard Peach. His hand made Mint Chip is amazing and made with garden fresh spearmint with rich dark chocolate pieces swirled into the creamy ice cream.
